Nintendo has finally seen fit to give North America the Virtual Console version of Xenoblade Chronicles: www.nintendo.com/games/detail/xenoblade-chronicles-wii-uWhen I finally broke down and bought a copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy last year, the VC version appeared only a week or two later, and as a result I expected this to go up soon after I got my physical copy of XC. So I apologize for it taking longer this time. I'm a little tempted by this, but I dunno if I would prefer the Gamepad over the Wiimote+Nunchuck.

Awesome! This is great news! I actually think the gamepad would be a better controller than the Wiimote due to the ability to adjust the camera quicker. Also, that's too bad about the Metroid Prime Trilogy thing... I was close to buying it at one point to, but decided against it since it was so dang expensive. Imagine my surprise when it arrived on the eshop for such a cheap price!

Oh, I wasn't bummed about the MPT thing. I would much rather have a physical copy I can play on any Wii or Wii U forever instead of a volatile digital purchase locked to my eShop account and Wii U console, even for $50. Same with XC. I don't buy digital versions of retail games.
I just figured I had some kind of magic touch and I was hoping it would work out for the rest of you guys last October/November.

About time! Though I'm not going to buy it since I already own two versions of the game and I don't have all the room in the world on my Wii U.

It's definitely easier to delete that than deleting an entire game and its save data. I had to delete Pandora's Tower to play Fatal Frame and then delete Fatal Frame to get the data packs.

For what it's worth, I have never regretted skipping the equipment pack and skells pack for XCX. I only installed the basic pack and enemies pack.

6.5GB, that's insane.
Check out the trailer on Ninty's Youtube, it's hype.
