@sirmouse: I would just focus on skell parts first, for the level 60 skell. Some things are just too annoying to farm without a good skell. Gularthian Everflames and Distilled Saps are what you want to dump all your tickets into after you make your farming skell, though. DarknessLink7: Alright, starting!

So is the Ares-90 THE farming Skell? I've heard of others making evasion builds with the Verus that apparently end up doing similar damage, but I've heard the 90 is the best "out of box" level 60 you can get. Would I be wasting my time trying to farm for something else?

WOOOOOW, that was tough. O____O
Very fun though! That guy looked cool as heck! We got him a couple of times at least.

Would I be wasting my time trying to farm for something else? Personally, I made Ares solely for farming, then made my own personal skell for fighting bosses. It was more work that way, but a lot of things went much smoother. Also, did it seriously break everyone else's skells that run? Including the person with the Ares?

Also, did it seriously break everyone else's skells that run? I lost an arm and half my arts, including the one to repair appendages, so I hopped out thinking I might do better.

I'm a bit ashamed I died though, because I shouldn't have. But I wasn't very vigilant about keeping Astral Protection up, and then suddenly MORE FILIAVENTS. I really hate that it summons those things. They're not hard to take down, but they're so annoying to fight on foot.

My skell arts did pretty much nothing to that guy (I haven't exactly optimised it), and it's a lv.30 one to boot. >_____> I managed to do much better on foot, but yeah, that guy was tough. ._.

Thanks again for the advice, Primulus!
Also, I take it that thing didn't get topple-locked this time around?

Thanks again for the advice, Primulus! Also, I take it that thing didn't get topple-locked this time around? I tried my best, but my topple is infrequent due to me lining it up after Drum Roll. The fourth person stayed in a skell until Adam and Wolfe ditched their skells, and once we were all on the ground, we also lost the +20%/40%/60% defense bonus... so we all dropped like rocks once it started summoning Filiavents again. Admittedly, I forgot to reapply Astral Protection. A harsh lesson for me. I'm willing to go again if anyone else wants to try in about 10-15 minutes, though. EDIT: In future runs, though, if you're with me, don't bother to hit the revive button. I'll come run over and revive you manually, which doesn't consume a retry! Which is why we got kicked out at the end there. Too many people hit the revive button, causing the attempt to expire. The entire party shares three retries, and if anyone takes it, it's one less for the entire party.

I guess I should go buy a lv.50 skell in the meantime. Any recommendations?

I knew about the retries, but I had no idea if TP revives were still a thing. Good to know! In a game like this I can be perfectly patient if someone has a shot at reviving me when they get the chance.
I'm good for another run.

(Also, I am going to send you a friend request over Miiverse, Link/Adam!)

Any amazing weapon I NEED to buy for it while we're at it? ^^ If you've unlocked any level 50 superweapons from treasure boxes, I'd use your new reward tickets to craft one of those, maybe. But odds are you probably haven't, right? Anything else might take too long to obtain for the time being.
