Yo! I figured you guys might enjoy this short demo of the game I'm currently working on. The playtime is between five to ten minutes but it should be enough to let you know what kind of atmosphere I'm aiming for. I don't want to tell you too much about the game before you try it out, but it's supposed to be a sweet little feelgood RPG. I haven't played Undertale myself, but I think it would be pretty similar from what I've seen. It has turn-based battles and a very simple combat system inspired by Paper Mario. You deal damage equal to your ATTACK minus the enemy's DEFENSE and vice versa. You also have special skills that deal additional damage at the cost of Magic Points. Some skills can deal more damage if you hit the "A" key at the right time. If you like Paper Mario, you should like this. EDIT 24/1: Updated the demo with A LOT of new content, new graphics and a zoom function! CONTROLS:
Arrow keys: Move "return" or "space" key: Talk, choose, examine "insert" or "esc" key: Open menu, cancel "shift" key: Run "A" key: Zoom in/out in field and deal more damage with some special skills in combat THE NEW DEMO (size: 246 MB, file name RUBATOSIS):
-The link has expired. I might choose to upload a new version some day, but for now the project is on hold. HOW TO START:
Just download the .exe file and click it. Let it extract and then click the folder. Click the file named "game" that has a red dragon icon. Enjoy! Let me know if you'd like to play more! The game aims to bring a smile to your face above all else. Also, I know I'm awesome at monster design. Monolith Soft should hire me already.

Once I've access to a computer I'll give it a try, but it sounds pretty neat, in any case!
Game design is one of many hobbies I've dabbled in for a short period of time in the past, most of which I wish I had the motivation and drive to continue from the get-go. Such is the fate of one easily distracted though, I guess.

You don't suppose you'll make a version supported on Macs, do you? *Sigh*, the sad life of a Mac user . . .

Game design is pretty much the only hobby that managed to keep me interested. xD You don't suppose you'll make a version supported on Macs, do you? *Sigh*, the sad life of a Mac user . . . Oh, dang it... I'm sorry, but it's not possible. When I compress the game it becomes an .exe file automatically. :/

I just updated the demo with loads of new stuff! This is such a huge update that I encourage anyone who already tried it to download it again and give it another go. Also, I've been wondering... Do you guys think this game has the potential to be sold? I'm thinking something like $2 for a 4 hour game or something? Obviously you guys would get it for free IF I do decide to sell it in the future. Thanks in advance for trying it out!
