I play Pokémon! I do! I do! *excitedly waves hand over head* I'm definitely liking these starters. In my opinion the Grass Owl is 9/10, the Fire Cat is 8/10 and the Water Seal is 4/10. So on average I'd give them 7/10, which is good! I think I'll trade over all three of 'em and use them on my in-game team. But then I already used up half of my slots... Hmm... Six slots are too few!

DarknessLink plays Pokemon? I wouldn't have guessed.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of any of the starters. They all look off to me. Especially the seal and cat. I'm also not a fan of cats and am pretty tired of cat type pokemon as there are so many. I'll probably end up going with the owl just because it's the one I don't particularly care for whereas I actively dislike the other two. It's odd too... usually I like the starters in each gen. There's always at least 1 or 2 that I like and I usually can appreciate the design for them all. I really only think the owl has a good design. I might change my tune after seeing evolutions.
The legendaries seem cool. I don't think they top Xerneas but the lion one is interesting. Like a Mega Pyroar.
I'm mostly excited about the new graphics. I've never been a fan of chibi game models so I'm excited to have fully proportioned characters that match the official art now. Trainers now are in the background of battles too so I hope that means we won't have pictures of trainers like in the last two games. Customization is back as well which makes me really happy. Though it looks like you can't change your hair from the beginning again...
