Bloodborne is a complete masterpiece in terms of lore, gameplay, music etc. So are there any fans here?

Yes. I've got two playthroughs of it. I'm not as big on Bloodborne lore as I am with Dark Souls, but another user here, Socran , actually played through Bloodborne with me my first time through a few months ago and is probably a bit more familiar with the lore than I am. As far as gameplay and level design though, I absolutely agree that it's a masterpiece. (Well, everything aside from the Chalice Dungeons. I wasn't so fond of those!)

Ah, so you haven't even finished the game yet? If you haven't tackled the DLC yet then I don't think you've really even come up to my favorite areas of the game yet (though I really like Cainhurst, it's up there for me).
For me, the problem with the Chalice Dungeons is that their environments are extremely repetitive and all the wonderful level design in the main game is not at all present in Chalice Dungeons, so that's why I pick them out as the only real flaw of the game.
Anyway! What kind of build are you playing with, and what weapons do you use?

Gascoigne gave me a bit of trouble but use the box when he is in beast form and charge up a backstab. also try to find fire paper since it makes him easy.

My first time through the game, Gascoigne gave me a lot of trouble, more than a lot of other bosses in the game. Second time through, I actually beat him first try if I recall correctly. He's definitely a tough boss, though.
I never used the music box for him in the second playthrough, either. I just prefer that boss to be an all out brawl and using the music box felt a little cheap to me. He's quite easy to parry once you understand parry timing though, and I think he was intended to be the boss that teaches you about parrying (and backstabbing, through use of the music box), but there's no tutorials.
Tonitrus is a cool weapon, I never got much use out of it in the main game because I never had decent Arcane on my strength character, though.

I cant parry in any soulsborn game, i think ive pulled one off once, the only games im good at timing button presses is Xenoblade and X You should see how awful I am at vagrant story Certain enemies are easier than others (and parry windows vary between game to game and weapon to weapon even), but Bloodborne's parry window is interesting. You have to get your gunshot off after the enemy's wind-up, but before the attack animation is in full swing. It definitely requires twitch reactions, but it's not necessarily unpredictable or impossible when you're setting your mind to it - watching how your opponent moves. It also helps that you can parry at range in Bloodborne, then dash in and go for the visceral attack during the opening, something that the other Souls games do not allow. Of course, you also have a limited number of parry attempts... Dark Souls 1 is ironically the most forgiving when it comes to parrying and backstabs I think. Instead of it depending on the enemy animation, you just have an animation where if an enemy hits you during that animation, you parry, and the animation tends to be pretty forgiving with most shields. Enemies are also just a whole lot easier to backstab in Dark Souls 1 compared to 2, 3 or Bloodborne. (I don't remember how it was in Demon's Souls.)
