The idea was that a business can/should be built of several systems that interact, interpenetrate and rely on each other. And it would be good for you, as a business owner, to spend an appropriate amount of time in each of these systems during the week. Of course, everything should be based primarily on calculations of how much you need to earn to meet your revenue forecast (the calculations were based on a thirty-hour work week, so I will present them that way too). What systems should you spend your valuable time on? 1. Sales system = 40% of the time - approx. 12 hours a week A sales system is all the activities you conduct to sell your products or services. Actively, every week.
It could be a combination of Phone Number List automation and actually showing up where your potential customers are. What can be part of your sales system? Introductory consultations/bonus introductory sessions, sales campaigns for products and/or services, challenges/webinars, guest appearances in podcasts/lives/videos, ads. 2. Marketing system = 25% of time – 7.5 hours Sales and marketing are two sides of the same coin that together can ensure that your business runs like a well-oiled machine. In these activities, systematicity is the most important thing. It will build authenticity and trust in you and your brand. What will be in the area of marketing that you would ideally spend just over 7 hours a week on? Building a community on social media, creating content such as podcasts, YouTube videos or weekly blog posts, content upgrade for blog posts, writing and sending a newsletter to your e-mail list, recycling content you already have at your disposal ads.
System for developing your community 20% of the time - approx. 6 hours a week This system is often overlooked, but very important to build engagement and connection with your community. (And then sell more to a more engaged community). One part of this system may be an automatic sales funnel in which you will build a relationship and give your readers/followers even more value for which they came to you, while collecting their e-mails. The second part of this system can be spending time on social media and actually building connections with other people. Not just posting your posts and waiting for oohs, aahs and applause. But above all, taking part in interesting discussions, supporting other creators.
